Truck Prop for 2016 Autumn Banquet Photos

Jonathan Watkins
I was asked by the Young People's leaders to create a fun prop for photos at the Senior's Autumn Banquet at church. The direction was simple: teal, truck, pumpkins...

Drawing the design on 1/4" underlayment board
 Jigsaw work is finished!
 Pumpkin detail.
 Chrome wheels anyone?
More chrome on the bumper and headlights
 Testing the alignment.
More testing, this time with the background in place as well as some accouterments of fall in the foreground.

Live Caricature Gig - Honda Transmission Manufacturing Annual Open House

Jonathan Watkins
Honda Transmission Manufacturing here in Ohio has an annual open house event each October. This year I was invited to do some live caricatures. Check 'em out!

I was there for about 3.5 hours and did a little over 50 caricatures. That's a new record!

Logo Design - Douglas Metal Systems

Jonathan Watkins
Recently was contacted by a client to create a logo for his new business. We wanted to convey a high-class look for a metal systems installation company.

Farm Fresh Eggs!

Jonathan Watkins
In exchange for farm fresh eggs, I made this sign out of an old board my dad had lying around his shop.

I designed the logo in Photoshop and then hand painted it on the sign.

Church Nursery Artwork

Jonathan Watkins
The caretakers at church asked me to do this project. This was a surprise from the husband to the wife. She had recently redecorated the nursery and he wanted to surprise her with some artwork. We decided to paint these on 1/4" underlayment board and attach them to the wall rather than paint them directly on the wall. That made it fun for me!
